I'm leaving for Christmas holidays in about 45 minutes, but I just wanted to wish you all

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I hope I will have the opportunity to update my blog at some point during the holidays, but I won't guarantee it, as I know I will have limited internet access.

I will be back again - hopefully with lots of lovely photos! :) - on January 3rd ... though I won't be home until about midnight, so I don't think you can count on an update before January 4 at the earliest.

Happy Holidays, Chaos and an Apology!

I apologize in advace for this quite confusing blog entry ...
I'm leaving for my families up north tomorrow (or rather tonight ...), and I feel rather bad about several things. I would have hoped to have updated this blog before leaving, but unfortunately that won't be possible. Hopefully I'll be able to make a number of summary-update-entries when I come back home after the holidays.

The reason for not writing much here is that things are REALLY chaotic right now! Aparently things have turned ugly for my sister, my Dad and his family are back from America, but she's really ill, and they haven't made it home yet, but are stuck in a hotel about 350 km from home and we don't know what will happen ... also, it seems my other sister also is ill ...
It's a true mess, both practically and emotionally and to be honest, I can't wait for these holidays to be over ....

I'd like to finish with wishing all of you HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!
I would have liked to send out individual holiday greetings to my friends, but it just hasn't been possible right now, the way things have been.
Please know that I AM thinking of you and am wishing you the very best for the holidays!

I will hopefully be back here on January 2nd, and while next year (semester) will be VERY intense, I'm hoping it will be better than the way things are right now!

Again, I hope you will enjoy the holidays and I wish you all the best for next year!!

Happy Holidays!

Stressing as usual, having a lot to do right before I'm leaving! This year, it's not just about me postponing everything, I think, because I really am VERY tired, and everything I try to do, tend to take a really long time.
Still, I'll hopefully be able to leave here in reasonable time, as I have at least a 6 hour-drive ahead of me, probably longer due to the weather!

On Summer Vacation!

Hello Everyone!

Sorry about the lack of updates here recently, things have been very hectic indeed, and I haven't been feeling the very best.
I'm off north to the summerhouse today, and those of you who has followed my blog for a while now, know that I won't have computer-or-internet access during the summer. I can sometimes sneak computer time, but it will be extremely limited.
Therefore, don't expect updates on this blog, even though I will try to write something if I get the chance.

I'm expecting to be back home in the beginning of August, thereby also getting almost four weeks vacation at home as well, so I will definately be back with frequent updates then. (I will truly miss blogging during the summer, that's for sure - not to mention reading everybody else's blogs!)

I wish you all a very nice summer, take care of yourselfs and try to get some well-earned rest!

Feeling Very Nervous!

My study-situation is totally NOT good right now ... and I'm getting seriously nervous about the exam! I know it's a while yet, but I have so much to do, and it's taking forever!! For once I don't feel completely guilty though, because I've never in my life studied as hard as I have this semester, but naturally you do feel guilty when you're falling behind and not getting everything done in time ... *very confusing*
I have kept at it almost the entire day today, but like I said, it's taking SO long! Currently I'm writing a paper on one book (I was worried on how to get enough pages, he wanted about 8, but now I realize I'll probably end up getting double that, and have to cut back instead!) and a paper on a seminar I missed. After that I have to read two books (one short, in Enligsh - about 150 pages - and one big book in Swedish, about 500 pages), and answer 55 questions on those book (preparation for the exam), and learn the answers ... and I should also prepare about 15 sentences for Hebrew lecture on Tuesday ... *GAAAAH*
Sorry, but I'm getting really edgy right now, and I'm not sure how I'll manage to pull this off. I don't have anything planned for these days except for studies (need to take a short trip shopping groceries tomorrow though) and I should try to get the apartment cleaned up a bit ... but I'm still worried I'm not gonna be able to get everything done in time! *stressing*

Otherwise I don't have much to write about, I'm completely burried in the New Testament right now!! We were supposed to get a lot of snow today, but the temperature rose, so it ended up just raining instead. I'm not that happy about getting snow now, but since I will hardly be able to outside until next Friday, I don't worry that much about the weather! :)

Oh, and I got some photos of my sisters in the mail yesterday! Boy, they've grown a lot since Christmas!! I have one picture posted on my Everyday Pictures! blog, and here are two more! :)

Happy New Year 2008!!

I'm sorry for the lack of blog entries lately, but I honestly don't have computer or internet access more than once or twice when I'm visiting my families, and the few minutes I get online are usually spent on catching up on emails.

I do however want to wish all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008, I hope you all will have a really great year, and for me personally, I will fight like crazy to make 2008 a better year than 2007.
I'm planning to go back home in a few days, so I hope I can make a few entries than about the holidays, about my sisters, about a musical I saw yesterday, about my thoughts on the past and the new year etc.

My poll on labels on this blog is over now, and I saw that I will also have to get started on labeling my old posts as well as the new ones in the future! :) Thanks to all of you who voted!

Happy Halloween 2007!

Happy Halloween, guys!
Hope you had a nice day! Halloween was quite big here in Sweden a few years ago or so, sometimes I think we copy pretty much everthing from America but it seems to have died out more or less now. Can't say that I'm too sorry about it, I've never cared that much for Halloween, myself ... Mostly annoying kids at the door all the time *lol*!

I don't have much to write about regarding today ... I tried getting some studying done this morning, then I went and met my mentor!! I really enjoy seeing her, but this will unfortunately be the last semester! She's having a baby and taking a break from studies, and even when she's due back, it won't be the same because she won't continue on the same department! I really hope we can stay in touch anyway ... I'd love to meet the baby of course! :)
We did meet at a somewhat unfortunate time, 2.30 in the afternoon, and I didn't get that much done before I had to get ready to leave, and I didn't get home until almost 6 - I also had some errands to run - and then I was fairly exhausted, so I haven't gotten much done tonight either ... Ah well, I guess I'll have to get all the more done tomorrow!! No little outings planned for tomorrow, all I have planned is doing laundry between 10 and 2, and I guess I'll survive that and will be able to study! ;)

Finishing off with some more Stargate SG-1 graphics!! (Still WAITING for my huge Stargate-box ... wonder if I should email the seller and ask when he sent it, it's been over 2 weeks now ....)

Happy Easter!

Yes, I know it's a little late, as we're nearly through Easter now, but the intention is still good, right? I hope you all have had and have a great Easter holiday!

Personally, I don't quite know what to say ... Generally speaking Easter has been really good, with some golden moments, but naturally that would be too good to be true, so there's been some really horrible moments as well ...

My Mum came down for a few days over Easter, and it was just wonderful to see her!! I had some hopes that my earlier depression would mysteriously disappear, since there was a break in the general routine with her coming, no lectures etc. It seemed to work out, I even managed to - sort of any way - handle a few distruptive incidents - but unforutnately the depression came back in a 100 miles per hour at the exact time my Mum's bus left ...
I always truly HATE good-byes but over the last few years I think I have learned to cope, I feel really bad, but it passes fairly quickly and I can get busy with other things ... did NOT work out this time! It's nearly two days since Mum left and it's still tearing me up inside. Now, that's not the whole truth, because there are lots of other stuff that are definately NOT good in my life right now, and I do know that I am in the middle of a depression, and that of course, makes things like good-byes even worse ...

Most things in my life are pretty bad right now, but to not get completely wrapped up in all the bad things I have to tell you at least one good thing that has happened (although with my depression I just keep telling myself that that good thing is so small and unimportant, it doesn't even matter that it is good ... isn't it FUN to be depressed?? *ironic smile*)
Anyway ...
The good news is that a while back I joined a forum called Admin's Retreat, where admins of forums meet, get advice and just hang out. They have a "Best Board of the Month" competition, and just for fun, I entered my James Bond Forum ... with Easter being the way it has, I didn't check it out until yesterday ... and I won!! *gasp* That was REALLY surprising, but I even got the banner to show it:

Delayed HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007!!

I feel horrible about not being able to write here at all since before Christmas!! But the truth is actually that this is the first time I've ever been in front of a working computer since I left!!! (I know, it's really horrible!!! *lol*)
Anyway, I'm really here to do some work for Uni ... but at least decided to make a brief entry here first!!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everybody!

I can't say that I usually tend to care a lot about Halloween, but hey ... it's kinda cool!
Actually, I've always had this 'dream' ... well, nothing really fancy, but some day, it would be really cool to throw this huge Halloween party - with all the possible decorations, and everybody would have to dress up ... to really get in the 'scary mood'! I hardly think that would ever happen, but I guess it could be a funny idea!

My day hasn't been all that great though ... but I guess I have to deal with that too! I started checking through the report we handed in last week, which we will present on Thursday - and I'm not too thrilled about making this presentation! I don't feel I really grap all the theories we've used, and how we've used them, and I hardly think I'll be in a position where I can answer questions about what we've written, and I'm almost certain I will have to do just that! *gulp*
There wasn't much work I could do with it though, and that in itself felt good, since I'm really exhausted at the moment!!

I managed to finish the summary I've been writing on forever late last night, and I emailed it to my teacher at midnight *oops*, so at least that's finished!! Yay!!
Since I wasn't able to do very much about this report - I'll be meeting the others tomorrow, and we'll decide how to do our oral presentation, so I'm guessing I have more preparations to do tomorrow night! - I've had a rather slow day today! That has been great, since I really am very, very tired - but I still felt I could have done something with this day ... nothing major, but something ... and I haven't ... Guess some days are just like that, huh?


Well, I'd best get something to eat now, and then I'll try to get to bed - I need all the sleep I can get these days!
