Home Sweet Home!

Hi guys - I'm back!!

Temporarily anyway ... I'm "visiting" home for a few days now. My Dad and his family took a vacation and at the same time they gave me and Zorro a lift home, so we're staying here while they're on vacation, and when they come back, we go back to the summerhouse for a while, before we're back for good.

Anyway, I've missed blogging a lot, so I'll try to write as much as possible during the time I have here!
The summer so far has had its ups and downs, which I guess is hardly surprising, more a fact of life, right?! :) It's been wonderful seeing my families again, and I totally adore my young sisters!! I find it a little bit difficult to get used to the intensity of them though, especially when we've all been living together in the summerhouse. I feel the after-effects of a very hard semester, and I have sometimes found it difficult to always put the children first. I know that's the way it has to be, and I'm not complaining about it, but I am used to only having to worry about myself, and it's quite a change to suddenly always have to think before you say or do anything; is this working out for the children? will the children feel up to this? can we solve this issue without disrupting the children's habits? etc.
But overall, it's wonderful to see them of course ... I have some great pictures, which I will share with you in future posts (haven't transferred them from the camera to the computer yet)!

The weather has NOT been good though. It's been raining more or less every single day for the better part of 3-4 weeks and that's not very funny. Especially when you're stuck in the summerhouse, where the only thing to do indoors is study or watch TV (only 3 channels) ... and the TV is about to break down ...
I'm definately hoping for better weather in the future, that's for sure!

I haven't done anything that special this summer - not like last year when me and my friend Annika went to London ... soooo much fun!! - the only thing apart from trying to get work down in the summerhouse between the rain has been a trip to an animal park called "Nordens Ark" - a real treat for my oldest sister (who turns three this summer), and also a day-trip to the West Coast with my Mum ... luckily we picked good days for the outings; it was sunny all day we were at Nordens Ark (amazing!!!) and my Mum and I managed to get around the rain; every time we drove somewhere it rained, but as soon as we got out of the car, the rain stopped! Perfect!!

As soon as I have started fixing the pictures from the summer, I will start posting here! Apart from cute child-photos I have tried my hand at nature photography! I'm definately not good at it, and my camera is not very sophisticated, but I find it very interesting and I would like to learn more about it. (I'm actually hoping my families will get together and contribute to me buying a more sophisticated and advanced camera for my 30th birthday in January) I will try to post some of those photos as well - comments are always appreciated of course!

Well, that's it for now, I will definately be back soon with more posts! Enjoy - and see you soon! :)

Hey sis!
Great to have you back, even if just for a little while!

Nice to hear you're having a pretty nice summer (the weather sucks though..it's been raining A LOT here too..).

I SOO miss London!! That was a great trip, huh?
Being stuck in Sweden's most boring town (and working all summer) really isn't as much fun..duh! LOL

Looking forward to seeing your photos!

*hugs*
