Way Tooooo Tired!

I actually did have plans for a "real" blog entry tonight, even tried to figure out some pictures to use, and also start getting back into blogging again ... since I haven't really written that many funny posts lately ...
Unfortunately I'm completely exhausted at the moment, I'm so tired I can hardly put words together, so I'm afraid the blog entry I had in mind will have to wait ... sorry! I hope I'll be able write it tomorrow ... (and reply to comments!)
My day hasn't been great .... and it didn't get better when I tried to have "fun" online before:

Rather Dull Days!

I get the distinct feeling my blog entries are just getting more and more dull right now ... don't really know what to do to make them more interesting either.
My life is dull at the moment, therefore I guess my blog entries will be as well. I don't do much at all, I have nothing planned, except getting more and more nervous about my oral exam which is coming up in about 10 days ... still not feeling the least bit prepared of cousre ... but that's not much to write about either!

My 'top secret project' is still on ... can't really say if it's working out or not as it's early days yet, but I guess the good news is that I'm still hard at it and haven't given up yet. That's something right?! :)

God, I really have to start thinking about more fun stuff for this blog, I'm almost falling asleep writing this - how are you possibly going to be able to stay awake reading it ...
Any suggestions? Feel free to leave a comment on what you'd like to read about here ... my mind is coming up empty at the moment (I'm guessing I've had too much of Max Weber and his protestant ethics and spirit of capitalism and sociology of religion lately! :)

New Top Secret Project!

Yes, I actually do have decided to start a new project, but I have to tell you all, it is top secret! There's a reason for my secrecy though! The fact is, I'm really nervous the whole project might go to Hell, and having told everybody about it would in that case make me feel really stupid! Instead I thought I'd mention I do have a project going on, but I will not specify what it is, until I see if it might work out or not.
I started it today, and it seemed to work out pretty good at first! Unfortunately, due to some unexpected twists and turns, it hasn't felt so great tonight! I'm hoping for a good night's sleep and better luck tomorrow - I'm not ready to give up on my project just yet! :)

Otherwise I don't have much to write about ... my life feels pretty dull these days, I try to do what I'm supposed to, and study as much as I can - despite horribly boring books - but nothing too exciting is going on at the moment!
Actually, I think I'm gonna make this a short post tonight, as I'm feeling the effects of this afternoon - when things I had counted on didn't work out ... so I'm not in a great mood, and if I keep writing now, I'll probably end up just complaining about everything and everyone ...

Guess I'll have to hope for a better day tomorrow!
Take care!

Why So Hard?

Why is it sooooo difficult to go back to blogging regularly when you've been away from it for a few days?!?! I find it totally difficult to start writing here again, and it's been nearly a week since my last post! *gasp*
Can't say I have that much to report though - the weekend was really nice, great company, great food, lots of fun stuff! However, yesterday and today has been more or less totally horrible, so at the moment I'm not in a great mood! I've been really down and feeling low, and on top of that I've spent the entire day today trying to get rid of a headache - without succeeding! *sigh*
I really should write a lot now, because pretty much everything feels terrible at the moment - and I can't seem to find the energy to do anything (the headache is a factor there too, you can hardly be efficient and get a lot of stuff done when it feels like your head is split open and somebody is having a party with a great big sledge hammer inside it ....

Okay, I guess I'd better just stop blogging now, not much fun with me constantly wining over everything! Hopefully I'm in a better mood tomorrow and will be back with a better blog entry!
Take care!

Another Two-Part Day!

Today was in fact quite similar to yesterday - except it was the other way around. I didn't get anything done this morning, I was tired, had stomach cramps and a headache and was just generally sick of pretty much everything!
After lunch I started feeling a lot better, so I've done some more cleaning, studied some, been in front of the computer etc. I haven't been quite as efficient as I was yesterday, but at least I've done something, right?! :)

I'm gonna be a bit busy this weekend, so I'm warning already that I might not write here every day! I hope you won't be too devastated (*lol*) but will be able to survive without me ....

I hope you all have a great weekend!
Take care!

Day Divided In Two!

This day - like many others now! - have felt quite strange!
I woke up with a splitting headache, but I was going to have the janitor take a look at my bathroom today, sometime after 1, so I couldn't exactly sleep all day! I managed to get rid of the headache ... more or less anyway ... and was quite efficient! In about 2½-3 hours I managed to clean my entire apartment, maybe I skipped a few things, but I still think that was pretty okay!
The janitor came, he fixed some stuff with the drain in the shower - and took a look at some stains in the bathroom carpet. And it seems like they must rip up the carpet, fix whatever's underneeth and put it back again ... Didn't sound that great, but apparently there was no panic. The janitor would speak to the guy handling those kinds of things, and than they'd have to check it out again ... Guess I'll have to see what they say when they're done! I know there's something I need to do, but it does get complicated. It seems like I can stay in the appartment at least - but I'm not sure if I can use the bathroom (at least I won't be able to use the shower), and I'm not sure what to do about Zorro either ...

For some reason, my efficiency completely stopped after the janitor had been here! I don't know why, I wasn't that nervous about having him here, so I shouldn't have been reacting that way ... but all I've managed to do this afternoon is go out grocery shopping - came back with two huge bags - but I still feel I should have gotten more done .... *annoying*

Also, we've set a date for my first oral exam! *HELP!!!* October 25th, at 10 o'clock! I think I should be able to get ready and prepare whatever it is I'm supposed to be preparing, but I still feel terrible just thinking of an oral exam ....

A Conflict ...

Today I've been going through a conflict - with my emotions!

Once again I had a pretty bad night, which made me postpone my Uni studies. I was at my department at lunch though, to meet my mentor! This will be the last semester I'll see her, so it'll take a lot for me to cancel an appointment! :)

I spent the morning writing in my diary, and I think I did reach a conclusion, even though I haven't managed to "live up to it" today!
The idea came from a friend who was here, and she's experienced her own problems. She mentioned (more or less in passing, but it was something that stuck with me) that she had a certain way of dealing with her problems. Once a problem occurres, the trick is somehow to isolate that particular situation, and work hard at making the "right" decision in that particular stiuation (without getting distracted by a wider view)! I have a feeling I can really use this, wether it is an anxiety-related situation, or something having to do with my weight, or pretty much whatever it is.
If you can isolate one single situation and work hard at making the "right" decision (wether it is deal with a tough situation, or resist some unhealthy meal, or whatever), this will eventually have an implication in your life ....

Today, for some weird reason, though, I have managed to break pretty much every rule possible, no matter what it applies to!! *sigh*
Needless to say, this day has been not-very-productive!!
Guess all I can do is hope for tomorrow, right!?!?

What Type of Movie Would Your Life Be?

Your life would be a Horror Film. You question the metaphysical and are curious about the supernatural. Your imagination lures you to the dark side. You play with the idea of spirituality, but have yet to reach any definitive and absolute conclusions. While your mind constantly toys with things that seem to transcend the laws of nature, there's a part of you that remains firmly grounded in the world around you.

Very Frustrating!

I had some advanced plans for today, unfortunately, nothing went according to plan at all.
I tend to sleep rather poorly now, I have done for quite some time, and I find it difficult to function without sleep.
Yeah well - newsflash - Zorro singlehandedly decided there would be no sleep at all tonight! When I had tossed and turned for about 1½ hours last night and was actually about to fall asleep, he decided to jump up and do his best to tear down my big mirror ... not good! The fact is, that mirror is hanging on the wall by a thread, it was quite an ordeal to get it up (my Dad helped me) and it cannot withstand much ... so I lept out of bed at about 12.45 a.m. trying to stop Zorro from getting the entire mirror down ... I succeeded in saving the mirror, but I didn't fall asleep before some time around 2.30 - thanks a lot! By then I already had to dispose of some of my plans for today - as that wouldn't work out with less than four hours sleep ... but at 6 I was awoken again ... this time Zorro did his best to tear my coats and jackets in the hallway into little shreds ... so I had to chase him down .... after that I managed to fall asleep again (and he did as well) and was horrified to see that I woke up at 9.45 .... *GAAAHH*
I felt like a zombie, and needless to say, not much has been done today, that's for sure.

I managed one little outing, but that's pretty much it ...well, a little studying, but I wish it could have been more ...
I do have plans for tomorrow as well - but now I've gotten scared to even plan, because it certainly doesn't seem like I can carry out my plans these days, that's for sure.
Make no mistake, I love Zorro more than anything ... but sometimes I get soooooooo frustrated ... that is allowed .... isn't it .... ?

Keep your fingers crossed I'll be able to get some sleep tonight, will you?
Thanks!

Blogs, Blogs And More Blogs!

Once again I felt compelled to go through my blogs, and there has been a few changes, so I figured I'd better list them here! :)

One blog has been completely deleted, my James Bond-blog. I didn't have neither the time nor the energy for it, and I don't want to constantly feel bad for not updating it, so I decided to delete it instaed. The posts I had will appear on my Swedish "entertainment" blog in the future.
Also, my Great Lyrics! blog has been somewhat "transformed" ... I have decided to make it generally in Swedish, even though some lyrics/quotes/poems will be in English, so it is now called ♥ Tänkvärt ♥ and the URL is new as well.
And finally, I have decided to create a new blog, about Stargate SG-1.

Here's the complete list! *lol*

A Great Evening!

Despite pretty terrible weather, yesterday evening was really really nice!

I went to see Sara first, we had a lovely meal and a few glasses of wine - and a lot of laughter ... as always! :)
After a few hours we went over to Johanna and Per and it was great to see them. Their appartment was really nice, and it was wonderful to meet their little kitten, Assar! Totally adorable!! As I'm used to seeing Zorro, I thought Assar so tiny, but Sara assured me he had in fact grown a lot! ;)

I had a really nice time yesteday evening but I have come to notice that I'm still having a little trouble being together with lots of people at the same time. Make no mistake, I'm completely happy with my own personal development, and I'm actually amazed that I have come to be in a situation where I'm even invited to gatherings and parties (because that has not always been so, that's for sure), but I can be more relaxed if I'm only meeting a few people at a time. When there are a lot of people (yesterday we were about 10), I have a hard time focusing and being part of a conversation, probably because I am a bit nervous ... Still, I know that not very long ago, I could hardly keep up a conversation with one person, so I'm confident I will get better and better and being in larger groups as well.

As has happened before, the train escaped us when we were going home (I had the company of another friend who was going south as well). We were a little late from Johanna, ended up running the last bit of the way to the station (and I have absolutely no condition to speak of whatsoever - am almost seriously considering not eating at all for a month or two, or five or ten - just in order to loose some weight!). Anyway, by the time we made the station, we saw the tail lights of the train as it was leaving! *typical*
But for once we actually were lucky after all! My friend noticed another train departing in about five minutes that would take her home, but it didn't go to my hometown ... although I found out I had a bus leaving in less than ten minutes that would take me only a short walk from home. So the whole thing ended well, after all!

Today I have been completely out of it!! Zorro was kind of excited when I got home (a little while after midnight), he finds it a bit difficult to handle that I'm gone during the night, so he was more or less running wild, and I had a hard time winding down to. I eventually became tired - but Zorro had apparently been sleeping all day, because he kept on going until 4 a.m. - *YAWN!* Therefore, I haven't had the energy to do much at all today, but I guess we all need those kinds of days as well.

All in all, yesterday was a great evening!! I realized that I have come a long way in regards to social interaction, I was able to handle things yesterday a lot better than I think I would have only six months ago, but I also realized that I still have work to do on getting better at it.
So yesterday was not only a fun night out with friends, it was also quite educational! *lol*

Take care, guys!
