As Cute As Can Be!

Since I have spent the better part of the summer with my two young sisters, I thought I'd take some time to make a post about them - and post cute pictures! *lol*

M is the oldest, she turned three in the middle of summer, and she's just wonderful. Her vocabulary is amazing and she talks really well. There are few letters and letter-combinations she's not pronouncing correctly, but other than that, she can keep up a conversation as well as anybody!
I think I have a special relationship to M, I was there more or less when she was born (well, I wasn't at the hospital, but I held her for the first time when she was 27 hours old!!), and for most part of her first month, and I think that has created a bond between us. Even when she was very little and I'd been away for months, it didn't take more than an hour or so before she'd let me hold her, change her etc. It has also happened on several occasions that she has dreamed about me while I've been dreaming about her - when we've been 500 kilometers apart.
I love spending time with her, but sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with her intensity. I'm used to living alone and doing what I want, so it's sometimes a bit difficult to always put her first and keep on playing for hours and hours ....
Some cute pictures from this summer:

I is six months, it's exactly - almost to the hour - 2½ years between the girls. Unfortunately, I have not been able to create much of a relationship with I, she was born right after I went home after Christmas Holidays. I visited for a weekend, when she was about 1 week old, then came to her Christening (when she was 4 monhts) and now this summer. It's evident that she doesn't know me and trust me the way M did when she was the same age, so I guess intense contact with children very, very young really does create a deep bond. Toward the end of the summer, I warmed up to me, and we got some lovely moments together too. Unfortunately it will be several months before I can visit again - maybe not until Christmas - so I fear she will have forgotten a lot about me then ....
Here are some photos of I too!
